Fire Prism Grav Tank
The model is finished! I might mess with some of the texturing later and make it look like an actual model. I would use the texture instead of my usual go to ambient occlusion pass(which for this one I changed up a bit). For now I am going to get back to some of my other projects. I am also thinking of uploading some other things from Katun, from projects that didn't exactly make it.

FP Almost Done
I am really close to getting the Fire Prism modeled. I have gotten through the hardest part which was doing the creases/paneling in the armor. Should be finished by the end of the week.

Eldar Grav Tank
A little work I have been doing for fun. I have been modeling an Eldar Grav Tank. I am going to make it a Fire Prism, right now it is based off of the old model design but it would be really easy to update it to the new models. I have been working on this along with some other awesome projects (including modeling some of my concept work). There is a lot more to show ;)

More Concept Work
Here is concept work I did for a space station. It was some of the first work I did with my tablet. In some ways you have to relearn how to draw when you work digitally, instead of looking down at your hand, pencil and paper your just looking at the screen. However I think this is a great change for me, I wasnt much of a traditional artist.

Concept Work
I recently got a tablet for my computer (an intuos 5 medium) and have been doing some concept work. Here is a ship I designed and have begun to model. I am also going to remodel/redesign it for a different world/universe that is cartoonish and stylized. I will post updates of the model as I get it done. I also might upload some other concepts that I have done.

Kickstarter Campaign is Live!
Kicksarter Page
We now have our Kickstarter campaign up and running for Katun. This is the whole reason why Katun Studios was started. We have been making android and i phone games for over a year. Now it is time to move on to much bigger and better things. Please show your support.
Update -- Sadly the kickstarter didn't make its goal. Thank you to all those who showed their support.
It has been a while since there has been other updates to this blog but great things are going to be coming soon (no more several months between updates lol).

Hail the King (Monster that is)
This is a character that I have been working on called the Monster King. We have been getting some content together for a Kickstarter project and he is going to be part of it. The concept was created by Matt Rebel a very talented 2d artist and a lot of the modeling was done by Jason Behunin. I finished the modeling and did the sculpting and texturing. Look for additional content very soon. All images are property of Katun Studios.
