Kickstarter Campaign is Live!

We now have our Kickstarter campaign up and running for Katun. This is the whole reason why Katun Studios was started. We have been making android and i phone games for over a year. Now it is time to move on to much bigger and better things. Please show your support.

Hail the King (Monster that is)

This is a character that I have been working on called the Monster King. We have been getting some content together for a Kickstarter project and he is going to be part of it. The concept was created by Matt Rebel a very talented 2d artist and a lot of the modeling was done by Jason Behunin. I finished the modeling and did the sculpting and texturing. Upgrade Menus

In Star Cruiser Defense you can play as three unique races. Each with its own abilities and unique appearance. Shown is the weapon upgrade menus for each of the races. These were the rough renders that I made and not final menus. In game you are able to customize your weapons and attacks. There are the 3 basic weapons systems that you can customize beam, missile, and bullet. Each has its own weakness and advantages when fighting. Star Cruiser Defense Release For Android

New game for Android Market coming out later today/tomorrow. Defend the human race as it sets of to explore and colonize space. This is a first of its kind on Android and the best game yet from Katun Studios. I loved working on this project and hope that you love to play it. I will post more later today that shows the interface and other assets that I worked on for the game.

Female Character

This is the female version of the human character. Her armor is slightly different some was reused from the male model but most of the parts were created separate. Now onto completing the aliens. All images are property of Katun Studios.

This a human character created for the upcoming Katun Studios game. I have created characters for the other races and will upload them when they are textured. I just need to take this character into z-brush along with the others. The uvs turned out great so I cant wait to see how the texturing turns out. In the end I should have 6 characters to show off. Sun in Unity

I was messing around in Unity trying to get some cool effects. I made a sun using a particle emmitter and fire texture. looks cool from far away and when you get close it looks like its putting off solar flares. Images are property of Katun Studios LLC
