Z brush Monstrosity

This is my first manipulation in z-brush with my own character. Work flow: start with z-spheres/z-sketch, export to Maya for clean up and uv's, then brought back in z brush for sculpting. I will most likely redo this character by starting in Maya then going to z-brush. Z-spheres increased my poly count way too much making more subdivisions impossible.

  1. cool idea, reminds me of minions of nurgle from warhammer.

could use more fatty sculpting, might want to look at warhammer figurines for reference. The fingers and toes are too straight, move brush can fix that pretty well. It needs more influence from anatomy.

Zketch makes for crappy subdividing imo... but zsphers can get you a rather clean mesh to subdivide to your liking.. if you use zketch you need to stick with clay brushes. to retopologize, the freeform modeling tools in max are great, allowing you to quickly completely rebuild the mesh by snapping to the old mesh.
